“ This place is so cool. It is a food bank for people that need help with food. On top of that it is also a grocery store. It is real clean real nice in there. The staff is very very helpful. I like the fact that when you buy your groceries there that money goes to helping the homeless with the food they need that they get for free to help their families because of the money that is spent on groceries there. . It is a selfsustaining welloiled machine. Good job you guys. ”
“ Very Kind people and ALWAYS STOCKED good meat selection sodas EVERYTHING you can fit into a small space makes this a HUGE MARKET They only carry food you have to get other things like plastic forks or pots n pans from neighboring stores I dont mind tho They also give you free food if you carry id n address with you You wont regret going its definitely NOT A WASTE OF TIME ”
“ The people there are friendly. The grocery side has very affordable prices. Family friendly. Clean. The food bank side has canned food and bread. And produce for FREE. Thank you Aftermarket ... ”
“ They are the best. At this time of life that we are going through high inflation in America that causes high prices of good, and motivates hard life in this country. This business with its charming friendly staff opens its food pantry to the people in the surrounding neighborhood. This generosity will provide a big help to the society. God bless them all. Thanks for reading my article. ”
“ Its been a few months since I was there. I have to say these are the kindest, most caring people, no matter what your circumstances. The store side is clean and fully stocked. The pantry has a wide variety of goods. This is not a big store, which is wonderful for the elderly. Its always clean and neat, said my neighbor. You may not shop for a weeks worth of food, but you most certainly will find enough to keep you going . They are a wonderful addition to our neighborhood. ”
“ The regular market side of the store is priced higher than most stores, but they are convenient, always fully stocked, and very clean. The section for free food is great. Everything is labeled, so you know how many of an item you can get. They have a nice variety of items and all the bread youd like. It takes just a few minutes to input your information, and then youre given a card that will be scanned on your next visit to make things go a bit faster. For free food, you get one visit per week. ”
“ I am so excited about and pleased with this store. Everything from being greeted with a smile and given a tour of their products to hearing how it helps the community was great. This is definitely what the area needed and I think its worth even going out of your way to support it. Meats, name brand items, and vegetables were all available. ”
“ So this store has been open for almost exactly 1 week. They are still working on getting their signage in place which initially led to some confusion about where the entrance was. In the photo you can see this is actually the back side of the building not the entrance despite this being what you see when you enter from the Craig road side. To enter the building you need to drive to the other side. With that out of the way, while this is a small grocery store they do have quite a good selection. They are bringing in more food than what we saw today. I did note that the prices were a bit higher than what Im used to at some of the bigger stores that are much further away. I think that pricing will even out as theyre able to leverage their buying power after being open for a while. Additionally we did ask about EBTSNAP payments. They are not yet set up for that but they anticipate being ready in about 2 weeks. The quality of the food is as good as anything you would find in the big stores. Its definitely worth a look. But thats not all... This store is also a pantry. On the store side you pay for everything like you would anywhere else, but on the pantry side if you show up between the hours of 1000 and 400 Tuesday through Saturday, you can use your Three Square Pantry Card to get free food that is just as good as whats in the paid section. If you do not have a pantry card they will help you sign up for it and I believe you will be able to take food with you the same day that you sign up with them. While we were there the staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. We had questions about how everything works and the owner came out and spent time with us explaining what was going on and how everything worked and even helped us with our selections. I highly recommend anyone in the Paradise area near Nellis Air Force Base come in and check this grocer out. ”
